Manx GP Top 6: Marc Colvin

Ninth within last year’s second Lightweight, Senior MGP encounters, Peel based Marc Colvin is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News, rising in popularity Manx GP Top 6 series.

Consistently in contention for high level results at the Jurby Airfield Circuit, his answers to the Mountain Course themed set of questions are as follows:

Q1: When you first competed at the Manx, what was your first initial thought of the Mountain Course?

“My first time down Bray Hill I couldn’t believe I was doing it. Growing up on the Island and watching my Dad race the Manx/TT, it is all I’ve ever wanted to do.”

Q2: Most memorable Manx GP bike?

“GSXR 750 (Suzuki) I’m racing again this year.”

Q3: Most treasured memory from the Manx?

“Finishing my Newcomers race in 2015.”

Q4: Is there one specific Manx GP competitor that you look up to?

“Anyone that has done it gets my respect.”

Q5: Describe the Manx GP in one word?

“Fun”

Q6: Finally, if you could race one machine from any series, championship around the Mountain Course, what would it be?

“Rotary Norton”
