Revealed this afternoon, ‘Ramsey Rocket’ Conor Cummins will next week make his Manx Grand Prix debut.
A collector thus far of twelve TT podium finishes, Cummins latest real roads exploration, sees him aboard a Steadplan sponsored 500 Honda, tackling the four laps long Senior Classic encounter.
Now before certain people may state, this isn’t his Manx GP debut, here’s a few facts.
Yes, ‘Conrod’ has participated on multiple occasions on yesteryear apparatus around real road racing’s most illustrious circuit.
But he hasn’t raced, participated as-yet in MGP affiliated competition. His previous classic Mountain Course racing ventures 2013-2019, have been under the Classic TT umbrella.
A welcome new addition to the Manx, the twice Ulster Grand Prix race winner whilst not widely known for exploits with 500cc Classic steeds, could be a dark horse for a top six finish or more.
