Setting sights on top calibre results, Spanish ace Victor Lopez Santos is on the lookout for competitive machinery, for the 100th Anniversary Manx Grand Prix.
An event participant since 2015, Lopez Santos has accumulated thus far five top ten finishes, including placing fourth in the Lightweight race stint of 2017.
Fast forward to the 2022 MGP and the Spaniard was racing in the Xecretia Road Racing team colours.
Early stages of the Junior Super Twins race, saw him in prime contention for a podium finish, before technical gremlins thwarted his challenge.
Putting behind the disappointment, the following four-lap Senior race yielded a very creditable fifth place finish, finishing just over ten seconds behind third place finisher, Jamie Williams.
On route to fifth, a major new personal best lap speed was banked, 120.355 mph, enabling him membership to the illustrious ‘Tommy Club’.
Already Spain’s quickest 600cc Mountain Course exponent, the Madrid based racer is determined to achieve more tumultuous feats on the fabled, mythical IOM roads.
Planning to join the TT Races entry in 2024, he is keen to conclude this August an already accomplished, almost ten-year strong Manx GP career, in forthright, exemplary fashion.
