Lightweight Manx GP lap record holder Jim Hind, is the latest leading next gen roads talent to confirm his entry for the eagerly anticipated Oliver’s Mount Spring Cup.
A revelation at last year’s Scarborough meetings, Hind underlined why many regard him as a future International roads pace setter with an array of stellar performances on two and four stroke machinery.
Mentored by International road racing, Oliver’s Mount legend Ian Lougher, it’s fair to say the tips a plenty passed on by the Welshman, have already been put to good use.
As in 2020, Hind will compete under the ten times TT winner’s Team ILR banner at next month’s Spring Cup, piloting S1-R Paton, ZX6R Kawasaki machines.
Having already proven he has what it takes to run with the likes of Lee Johnston and Dean Harrison, there’s no doubt that his continued progress at North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT’, will be monitored closely this year by astute Scarborough racing aficionados.
Quite the entry is building for next month’s Spring Cup which reminder gets underway in just over 30 days time.
