By Commencing at the same time as the Brod Open Races in Croatia, Moto GP action at Assen, the latest Principal Insurance Masters Superbike Championship (Mondello Park national circuit configuration hosted), support Championships event, attracted a select group of well-known roads scene craftsmen.
This included Daracore Racing’s Kevin Keyes, who warmed up for this week’s Skerries 100 sprint in stellar style, obtaining three race wins, five top three finishes overall.
Keyes, the fastest Mountain Course newcomer of TT 2024, won the second, third SBK race contests, scored success in the opening middleweight category, Supersport encounter.
Roadhouse Macau by FHO’s Brian McCormack, captured Superbike Race One laurels whilst Andrew Murphy, a first time Oliver’s Mount winner during the Barry Sheene Festival, was no lower than P2 across the Moto 400 races (Race 1 – 2nd – Race 2 – 1st – Race 3 – 1st).
2010, 2013 Junior Manx Grand Prix Champion Michael Sweeney, like the above illustrated Keyes, Skerries 100 Sprint bound, accomplished top five finishes x3, the best of which was third within the final Supersport race-stint.
