2013 has seen James Cowton prove himself as one of the rising stars in road racing. James starred at this year’s Manx grand prix, despite ultimately mechanical issues stopping James from winning both the junior and super twin race, James talent and speed was shown fully.
This years Southern 100 saw James achieve 3rd and 4th place finishes in both super twin races when competing on the KMR Kawasaki powered by Vauxhall super twin.
In the supersport race at the Southern 100 James achieved a top 5 finish in a race that saw him finish in front of road racing legend Ian Lougher.
James has impressed many at Oliver’s mount this season. At the cock of the north road races James recorded a 4th place finish in the feature race when competing on the CC engineering backed CBR 600 Honda.
The Scarborough gold cup saw James achieve a superb 3rd place finish in the Steve Henshaw international gold cup race. James also achieved two top 5 finishes in the supersport races alongside a third place finish in the opening super twins race.
Overall the 2013 road racing season has being a fantastic one for James Cowton.
