Isle Of Man Festival Of Motorcycling – Weather Curtails Tonight’s Practice Session

Tonight’s practice session at the Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling has been cancelled due to wet weather around the mountain course.

Last night’s practice session saw impressive performances from multiple competitors.

Which included Ryan Farquhar finishing fastest during formula 1 classic TT practice, following lap speed of 117.699 mph on Team Winfield backed 1100 Harris Yamaha.

Ian Lougher topped the time sheets in 500 practice whilst Rob Hodson in senior Manx GP practice, laid down a marker following lap speed of 114.853 mph on PRF Racing GSX-R 750 Suzuki.

Further standout displays included Andy Dudgeon on his return to the mountain course leading the way in super twins class, lapping at 105.706 mph on Slick Bass backed ER6 Kawasaki.

Plus Joe Newbould setting the pace in junior class following lap speed of 111.168 mph on his own teams ZX6R Kawasaki.

All competitors are hoping for dry conditions around the mountain course, for practice session on Wednesday evening which is scheduled to begin from 6:20 PM, where top class action is guaranteed.
