IRRC Horice: Walther Edges Champion Elect Lagrive In Supersport Qualifying

Team Schleizer Dreieck’s Thomas Walther scooped pole position for tomorrow’s IRRC Supersport encounters at Horice, following a tremendous performance within the second qualifying session.

The experienced German racer, lap time of 2 minutes 19.689 seconds, was more than enough to sit at the top of the combined qualifying time sheets, finishing just over 0.35 of a second clear of IRRC Supersport title favourite, Matthieu Lagrive (2.20.056).

Finishing third quickest behind Wepol Racing’s Lagrive was Laurent Hoffmann (2.20.267), who in turn was under a tenth of a second in front of Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Pierre Yves Bian (2.20.355).

Fifth, sixth quickest respectively Max Gaube (2.20.631), Jochen Rotter (2.20.705) both dipped under the 2 minutes 21 seconds marker as did seventh fastest event wildcard Michal Vecko (2.20.913).

Concluding the ten quickest combined qualifiers were improving French roads exponent Jonathan Goetschy (2.21.425), Petr Wiesenberg (2.21.658) and Daniel Schmidt (2.22.275).
