IRRC Horice: Determined Najman Joins IRRC Winners Circle

Petr Najman joined the IRRC winners circle, after a commanding display within the opening nine lap Supersport contest at Horice.

Originally led by IRRC Supersport Championship leader Pierre Yves Bian, by lap number four the North Czech Riders supported racer had moved to first, enjoying a 1.33 seconds advantage.

Over the next two laps Najman built his race lead to in excess of 3.5 seconds over Yves Bian, who may have been feeling the effects of a high side incident during yesterday’s opening qualifying session.

3.560 clear at the completion of lap six, Najman maintained a relentless, consistent turn of speed to go onto claim race spoils by almost 4.6 seconds, with second place going to Martimotos Kawasaki pilot Yves Bian, who got the better of a charging Ilja Caljouw.

Taking fourth behind Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Caljouw was 2012 Newcomers A Manx GP winner Kamil Holan with fifth going to improving French roads exponent Amalric Blanc.

Horice round wildcards Karel Brandtner, Tomas Toth took sixth, seventh as Denmark’s Anders Blacha, Frantisek Loueka and Cyril Lecocq concluded the top ten finishers.

21st on the grid, Never Be Clever Racing’s Mark Purslow moved up seven places to finish 14th whilst 27 racers in total completed the middleweight class encounter held in sun drenched conditions.
