IRRC Chimay Supersport/Superbike Entry Lists Revealed

With just under a month till IRRC (International Road Racing Championship) action returns for the first time since 2019, series organisers have revealed the Supersport, Superbike entry lists for racing at Belgium’s most acclaimed active roads circuit, Circuit De Chimay.

26,31 racers respectively are set to tackle Supersport, Superbike competition at Chimay, with 14 nations enjoying representation.

The UK’s challenge is led solely by former Manx GP winner Mark Purslow (Never Be Clever Racing).

Alongside the likes of previous series Champions Marek Cerveny (Wepol Racing BMW), Didier Grams (G&G Motorsport by BMW Motorrad), Laurent Hoffmann (Hoff by MRP Racing BMW), added ones to watch aboard 1000cc machinery next month include:

Lukas Maurer (L78 by Heidger Motorsport Kawasaki), 2012 Newcomers A Manx GP winner Kamil Holan (Blue Garage Kawasaki), Virgil Amber Bloemhard (Performance Racing Achterhoek Kawasaki) and Jean Pierre Polet (JPM Team BMW).

Supersport wise, leading lights set to contend for success include:

Pierre Yves Bian (Martimotos Kawasaki), Thomas Wendel (2 Wheels Racing Team Yamaha), Jorn Hamberg (Performance Racing Achterhoek Yamaha), Christian Schmitz (Motorradtechnik GEENEN Kawasaki) and Optimark Road Racing’s Xavier Denis.
