A tad extra overcast but all-in-all brilliant conditions, for the second IRRC Hengelo, Sportbike qualifying session.
2025 Supersport, Junior Manx Grand Prix winner Jamie Williams (JLG Racing/NCE Racing Aprilia) turned the tables on Q1 leader Elias Van Roekel to claim pole positions for tomorrow’s first ever IRRC Sportbike races.
Williams top time of 1.58.611 seconds gave him a Q2 winning advantage of 0.376, over ORS Racing Team’s Van Roekel (1.58.987).
Third fastest, prospective Manx GP debutant Wally Jacobs (1.59.244) was sub 0.3 further back.
Fourth, fifth most potent pilots around the fast, flowing, technical in parts Varsselring circuit were Wes Kleinfeld (WKR Aprilia – 2.00.223) and top non-Aprilia rider Thomas Wendel (TMG21 Racing Team Yamaha – 2.00.898).
Q2 positions sixth to tenth went respectively to Patrik Serbousek, British newcomer Lloyd Morris, Mike Ceuppens, Hoffmann by MRP’s Rutger Peersman and Alexandre Dumoutier (Dumout’ Racing Team).
