Bolstering an already quality filled entry list, 21 times TT winner Michael Dunlop is set to tackle for the first-time next month, the iconic former Grand Prix racing venue Imatranajo.
Supersport winner x2 at TT 2022, Dunlop will be aiming to follow his Uncle Joey, in becoming a race victor at Finland’s most famous road race circuit.
Back in 1986, the legend that is ‘Yer Maun’ enjoyed success in the Formula TT World Championship round at Imatra.
Nephew Michael, despite being an Imatranajo debutant, given his unrelenting determination, supreme talent, sheer will to win, International roads winning calibre can’t be discounted from pushing for tumultuous feats at the second IRRC round of 2022.
The Ballymoney racers’ maiden Finnish roads expedition, sees him compete for Rico Penzkofer’s Syntainics Racing by Penz 13 squad, piloting Honda machinery.
Joining Dunlop as part of a four strong Penz 13 challenge are local favourite Erno Kostamo, Italian Luca Gottardi and currently second in the IRRC Superbike Championship, new second fastest German TT racer in history, David Datzer.
