Horst Saiger Lights Up Qualifying At Terlicko

TT Privateers champion Horst Saiger lit up the qualifying sessions at Terlicko, sealing pole position for three races.

This included topping the Superbike time sheets, by over three seconds over two times IRRC Supersport title winner Marek Cerveny.

Horst also headed in dominant fashion Supersport qualifying, on his Metzeler backed ZX-6R Kawasaki, lapping at 2 minutes 16.49, to finish almost five seconds clear of nearest challenger, Richard Sedlak.

Added Czech road racing stars to impress on big bike and 600 machinery, included Kamil Holan, Petr Biciste, Pawel Szkopek, Ales Nechvatal, Miroslav Sloboda and Jozef Jezovica.

David Hanzalik, Super Twins winner at Kopcany, lead the twins at Terlicko, as Optimark Road Racing’s Xavier Denis, impressed in finishing second quickest.

The Super Mono class was lead by event newcomer, Shaun Anderson. Piloting the Kramer Motorcycles machine, that he took to victory at Horice, the former Newcomers A Manx GP runner up, also combined on the Super Twins/Super Mono time sheets, qualified third fastest.

Two stroke wise, the pace setters where, Michal Savinkov (125 GP), Petr Kunz (250 CRR) and Marek Zima (125 SP).

Backing up heading the Superbike and Supersport fields, Horst Saiger, also overall topped the Classics class, on the Egli Vincent, which he is set to pilot in August, at the Classic TT.
