Horst Saiger ended his 2014 road racing season in positive fashion at the Wanganui road races.
The superstock lap record holder at the North West 200 impressed in qualifying at Wanganui as he quickly got up to speed around the cemetery circuit.
Superbike race one saw Horst clinch third place finish as he finished only 0.9 of a second behind race winner Tony Rees. In superbike race two fifth position was achieved which meant that the rider who secured sixth place finish in this years Macau Grand Prix had recorded overall victory in the 2014 Suzuki tri series.
Robert Holden memorial feature race would see Horst finalise his first years action around Wanganui in consistent and solid style as another fifth place finish was sealed.
The 2014 road racing season has been a highly successful one overall for Horst. Alongside top results at North West 200, Horice road races, Macau Grand Prix and now at Wanganui the hugely talented rider recorded personal best finish on the mountain course at TT 2014 finishing in 11th position in superstock race.
