Eight times Steve Henshaw international gold cup winner Guy Martin, is undecided on whether he will compete at the 2016 Southern 100.
Following the Tour Divide cycle race in May, Guy will then decide after competing in the bicycle race which runs from Canada to New Mexico, whether he will return to competition around Billown.
The last three solo championship races at the Southern 100, have seen him clinch a hat trick of feature race victories, having been involved in top class duels with Michael Dunlop, Dean Harrison and Dan Kneen.
Pure road racing fans from the Isle of Man and worldwide would be delighted to see the 19 time international road race winner in action, at the popular Castletown based meeting.
Last month Guy confirmed that he would not be participating in both the North West 200 and TT 2016.
Commenting on his Facebook page, Guy stated on the 19th of January, that the Tour Divide, could decide, whether he wants to return to pure road racing in the future.
“After the Tour Divide I might never want to see a pushbike again – or never want to go road racing again, I don’t know.
But I do know Bruce Anstey and John McGuinness are still racing the TT, and they’ve got a few years on me, so maybe I’ll come back next year. Or maybe I’ll find something else interesting to do. I’ve got more interests than just motorbikes and I just think let’s bloody have ‘em.”
So was TT 2015, Guy’s last time competing at the Isle of Man TT, time will tell.
