The mixed conditions affected, thirty sixth, Mitre 10 Mega Greymouth Street Races edition, opened this Sunday 2025 New Zealand road race action.

Christchurch based Dan Jenkins, scooped in total six race triumphs including all three F1 contests, beating to P1 NZ roads scene specialists, top five finisher last year at Whanganui Ashton Hughes and veteran racer Heath Botica (2024 Formula Greymouth winner – winner of both Post Classic Pre 72 races and the third Bears race).

Sasha Drain gained opening Aotea Electric Formula 2 honours, Chris McMeeken, Tony Mason collected Post Classic Pre 82, Post Classic Pre 72 successes.

Garth Wilson went unbeaten in F3 races, Jordan Leslie achieved the same outcome in Post Classic Pre 95 races.

Jason Bardell, Mitch Rowe unlocked victory doubles in Buckets, Super Motard encounters whilst others to finish victorious today, were:

Jeff Cameron (Post Classic Pre 89 Race 1), James Carley (Super Motard Race 2), and Cameron Cross (Buckets Race 2).

In below two months’ time New Zealand street racing 2025 style, moves onto the ‘Southern Hemisphere’s Isle of Man’, the Cemetery Circuit Races.

Notable confirmed entrants include this year’s fastest TT newcomer, Mitch Rees, dad Tony Rees, Morgan McLaren Wood, Dave Hewson, Baja International Tourist Cup lap-record holder Eric Wilson and Richie Dibben.
