Feature North West 200 Superbike winner Glenn Irwin is set to sample the magical Mountain Course for the first time, piloting John McGuinness ex Moto GP points finishing Vimto NSR V-Twin 500 Honda, in next Monday’s retro parade lap at the Classic TT Races.
Tipped by many as a future TT Races competitor, it’s going to be interesting to see what Glenn makes of the 37 and three quarters miles long roads course.

Speaking via his Facebook page, about taking part in the Classic Racer Magazine Retro Parade Lap, he said:
“Ticking a couple of things off the bucket list within the next few days.
1. Riding The Vimto NSR v-twin 500 that John McGuinness rode at the TT and finished 13th at the British GP in 2000.
2. Doing my first ever lap of the Isle of Man TT on Monday onboard the exact same bike above during the parade lap at the classic Manx. Absolutely peeking!
Thanks to PBM (Paul Bird Motorsport) for letting me do this and Steve Manton, Stuart Bland, Paul Phillips for sorting it out!”
