Didier Grams was fastest in the both the International road racing championship and open race practice sessions at the Frohburg road races today on his BMW SR1000 superbike. Circuit newcomer Simon Andrews was in the mix in practice today lapping in the 1 minute 40 seconds pace at a race meeting which Simon is using to prepare for the Macau Grand Prix in november. Paul Shoesmith on the Ice Valley racing BMW by Motorsave ltd superstock bike lapped in the 1 minute 39 seconds pace, so far this season Paul is in eight place in the International road racing championship having raced at the Schleiz, Chimay and Trelicko road races.
John Walsh and Alan Connor both set competitive lap times on their Honda and Suzuki superstock bikes and will be looking for personal best finishes at the Frohburg road races in the races tomorrow. Isle of Man TT and Macau Grand Prix competitor Rico Penzkofer was on the pace on the Penz 13.com BMW superbike at a track where he has achieved wins before.
