Meetings like the Belgian Classic Trophy at Gedinne, ooze the feel-good factor. Undistilled, not sugar coated, raw, authentic, its 17th edition commenced last weekend.
As with previous event editions, several top UK, Irish classic racing specialists attended.
David Tetley, four times Manx Grand Prix winner Chris McGahan shared 350 GR1 (Group 1), 350 GR2 (Group 2) victories, Colin Wilcock stormed to Vintage Group 2 Race Two honours, on route bagging a new class lap record of 2 minutes 53.717 seconds.
Richard Ford claimed Post Classic Two Stroke 350 Race 2 spoils, Adrian Dedman/Theresa Langford won the opening Sidecars GR3 bout whilst overseas aces to finish victorious, would include:

Jeffrey Vermeulen (500 GR2-500/750cc-IHRO 1), Richard Vuillermet (International Post Classic Group 2), Eric Genin (IPC 125), Marc Beltman (500/750cc-IHRO 2).
Bruno Leroy (500 Post Classic GR3), Norbert Szczepanek (EVO), Eddy Pronier (EVO) and International Post Classic Group 1 winners Alec Peiffer, Frederic Stoffels.
The 3.15 miles long Gedinne course, is a real riders circuit which has a mix of everything, fast flowing corners, 22 curves, 200 metre straight, great scenery.
It’s pure undiluted between the hedges’ competition, just like the upcoming Steve Henshaw Gold Cup at Oliver’s Mount!
