Faraldo Racing, McGee Re-Link Up For Irish Roads Tenures

Irish Road Racing 2025 style will have two significant returning, re-aligning forces in the form of Francesco Faraldo’s, Manx GP, Andreas Racing Association, Jurby Airfield Championship winning Faraldo Racing squad and TT rostrum finisher, Ulster GP race winner Derek McGee.

The Mullingar rider has fond memories of previous competition explorations for the IOM based team, taking race wins at Cookstown, Tandragee, the Armoy ‘Race of Legends’, the Faugheen 50 Road Races and collecting the 2019 Ulster Road Race Moto 3 Championship title.

Whilst his events schedule for 2025 is still to be officially confirmed, McGee’s comeback is a big boost for the Irish roads’ scene.

Two months back, the former Duke Road Race Rankings Champion revealed that he had secured a Ten Kate Racing, prepared R6 Yamaha for selected Irish roads, IRRC events.

Last May, he made an enterprising IRRC Hengelo debut, finishing second, first from BeNeLux (Belgium Netherlands Luxembourg) Supersport race contests, placing top newcomer (fourth overall) in the opening IRRC Supersport race.
