Exciting opportunities await 2018 Senior Manx Grand Prix winner Matt Stevenson, in the near-future having secured a ride with the RC Express Racing ran Dafabet Racing team.
Ripon’s Stevenson, fifteenth in last year’s Superbike TT, new deal sees him ZX-10RR Kawasaki, YZF R6 Yamaha mounted for the Senior, Superbike, Superstock, Supersport races of TT 2023.
Affectionately known to many as ‘The Mullet’ the amiable racer quietly caught the eye at TT 2022, recording three top thirty finishes including the already mentioned top-15 placing in the opening big bike encounter.
Holding at present a personal best lap speed of 123.992 mph, he is keen to find that next level, that next injection of speed, metronomic pace.
Speaking today about signing for triple TT winners RC Express Racing, Stevenson stated:
“I would like to say a massive thank you to Dafabet Racing for taking me on.
It is an amazing opportunity for me to have some serious backing and support going into this year. There is only so much a father, son and a few mates can achieve in this sport, so this chance has just come at the right time.
I’m excited to see the progress I’ll make this year with the team and it’s a massive step in the right direction so I can’t wait to get going.”
