Its been an excellent 2014 road racing season for Neil Lyons. The rider who made his Manx Grand Prix debut last year has secured this year senior support race victories at Skerries road races, Walderstown road races and Killalane road races.
Following a highly accomplished years road racing Neil clinched 2014 Irish road race senior support championship victory. In the last five years we’ve seen riders such as Dean Harrison, Alan Bonner, Derek Mcgee and Shane Egan all come through the senior support class and Neil has joined them in proving he is a seasoned, consistent and highly accomplished pure road racer.

The 2014 Manx Grand Prix saw the rider competing on Amigos backed R6 Yamaha record excellent 11th place finish in junior race whilst the senior Manx Grand Prix would also prove to be highly prodigious for Neil.

15th position was achieved following a solid performance as he ended his second year of competing on the mountain course in solid and respectable fashion.
For all pure road racers its a landmark moment in their careers competing on the most famous road racing circuit in the world and Neil having accomplished this landmark twice looks set to have a bright future in front of him at the Manx Grand Prix and at the Isle of Man TT.
