Degsy Discloses Enterprising 2023 Plans

Hugely looking forward to kick starting race action this year, Darlington’s Stephen Degnan has revealed his enterprising 2023 racing plans.

Real roads wise, ‘Degsy’ who sticks with ZX-10RR, ZX636 Kawasaki steeds, is set to sample all four Oliver’s Mount Scarborough events starting with April’s Bob Smith Spring Cup.

There is the possibility of IRRC events participation whilst Irish road racing also features strongly with outings at Cookstown, Armoy, Walderstown, Skerries and the FonaCAB/Nicholl Oils North West 200.

Alongside aforementioned ‘Between the hedges’ competition, additional racing itinerary includes Darley Moor, Croft meets and selected Irish Superbike Championship races at Bishopscourt.

Looking ahead to this season, the always chipper Degnan candidly stated:

“It’s mainly as many Roads as I can manage with the circuits for bum in seat time.

It is going to be a busy year for me. My aim is to qualify for the big races and A finals as a privateer.

Finally felt like I got up to some sort of speed last year at the end of the season, when I took 3rd in the Darley Moor Allcomers race and finished 14th overall in the Stars at Darley races. Hoping to carry that form into this season.”
