Dean Harrison produced a top ride to win this years supersport race at the Southern 100. Dean competing on the Ian Bell motorcycles R6 Yamaha lapped at over 109 mph in winning a close fought race in which second place finisher Guy Martin broke the supersport lap record lapping at a superb 110 mph. Overall this years supersport race at the Southern 100 was for many the top race at this years Southern 100 meeting.
