Dean Harrison is confident of the potential of the new R1 Yamaha for the 2015 road racing season. This years Isle of Man TT saw Dean clinch his first TT victory as he won an entertaining lightweight race following a supreme all round performance on RC Express racing ER6 Kawasaki.
Looking to 2015 expectations are good that the rider who made his TT debut back in 2011 can continue his rapid progress on the mountain course with Mar Train racing. The team have already tasted victory with Dean in 2014 at Southern 100 and cock of the north road races.
These wins where secured in supersport races on the teams fully proven R6 Yamaha. Mar Train racing are fully confident that Deano can secure standout results next season not only at the TT but at the North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix, Southern 100 and Scarborough gold cup.
In recent years the hugely talented rider has been regarded by many as one of the fastest rising stars in pure road racing. Having secured lightweight TT victory, five wins in a week at Southern 100 plus new lap record around Billown, seven wins at cock of the north road races and second place finish in superstock race at Ulster Grand Prix in 2014 it proves he has gone up to the next level in road racing.
Anticipated first road race of the season for Dean and Mar Train racing is the spring cup national road races at Oliver’s Mount where the second fastest rider in Oliver’s Mount history will be looking to begin his season with more standout results.
