Disclosed on Manx Radio, Adelaide’s David Johnson is going green for 2024 North West 200, TT campaigns, riding for Kawasaki’s official roads representatives, Lee Hardy Racing.
Established as one of Australia’s all-time roads scene greats, ‘Davo’ is keen to further embellish his decorated CV.
2019 Superbike Classic TT winner, he’s chalked up TT, Ulster GP, Macau Grand Prix top three finishes, boasts a PB lap around the fabled, mythical Mountain Course of 131.595 mph.
New suitors Lee Hardy Racing whilst perhaps more known for their BSB exploits, are no strangers to real roads success, as shown with Peter Hickman at the Macau Grand Prix in 2015.
For 2024, they are not competing in the British Superbike series, instead focusing solely on roads events, representing ‘Team Green’.
In new team member Johnson, there’s no doubts about his pace, application, talent, and it wouldn’t be a minor, big surprise if he takes this year quite the array of top-line results.
