By David “Dave” Hewson is set for this years road racing season. David will be riding for his own team this year on a Aprilla RSV4 superbike and on a Yamaha R6 supersport bike as well. In 2007 David made his TT debut and has since recorded many a consistent result including a top 20 finish in the senior TT race in 2010. Alongside his top results at the TT David has also achieved top results at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough which have included race wins and top 5 overall finishes at the Ian Watson spring cup road races and at the Cock of the north road races.
For this years road racing season David is back at the TT this year competing in the superbike, superstock, supersport races and in the senior TT race. David will also be competing at selected meetings at Oliver’s Mount and will also be competing at the Tandragee 100 road races plus will be making his debut at the Cookstown 100. One of many talented road racers David Hewson is someone who may create a surprise or two this year in particular at Oliver’s Mount where he has recorded many top results.
