2019 TT Privateers Champion Jamie Coward will continue to compete under the KTS Racing banner in 2021, as he aims for more tumultuous feats with Kevin Watret, Simon Bleasdale’s team.
Despite the 2020 road race season been largely wiped out due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hebden Bridge’s Coward star shone at the Barry Sheene Classic, 69th Gold Cup meetings at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough.
Collecting from 2020 Scarborough action five race wins, September’s Gold Cup competition saw him illustrate and some the potency, capability of the KTS Racing Z650 Kawasaki steed, strongly mixing it with Supersport mounted competitors plus setting a blistering new Super Twins lap record of 1 minute 49.468 seconds.
Looking towards next season, it remains to be seen as to whether 2019 Lightweight TT runner-up Coward will be competing in the KTS colours at Scarborough.
One thing is for certain though, no matter where he and the KTS team compete, they will be prime contenders for results of the highest quality.
