The Susan Jenness Trophy, year upon year celebrates the achievements of female TT competitors.
The trophy, which is provided by Mick Jenness, is named in honour of Mick’s late great wife Susan, who tragically passed away following an incident whilst on marshal duties at a UK based off-road meeting.
Claiming the prestigious Susan Jenness Trophy accolade, via performances at TT 2019 is Maria Costello MBE.
Over four decades now a Mountain Course exponent, Costello MBE’s 2019 TT tenure proved successful with very creditable finishes in races partaken in.
25th within the Bennetts Lightweight race, the Sidecar encounters saw the former Classic TT podium finisher showcase her three wheeling skills.
Joined by seasoned Sidecar pilot Julie Canipa, she went onto clinch respective 21st, 17th place finishes.
TT 2022 wise, Costello MBE has once again mixed solo and Sidecar competition, illustrating again her racing versatility around the unparalleled Mountain Course.
