Cock O’The North: Putting The Super Into Super Twins

Cock O’The North: Putting The Super Into Super Twins

The Super Twin encounters of April’s Bob Smith Spring Cup, captivated, thrilled, intrigued.

Expect more of the same at the returning Cock O’The North, with a diverse pool of competitors targeting class spoils in the three, six-lap Arai supported races.

Class winner times three across the Spring Cup, SMT Racing/KH Commercials backed Rob Hodson will start a firm contender for race victories.

Fifth in the second Carole Nash Twins race of TT 2023, Hodson is riding arguably as good as he ever has.

Also going into Scarborough based competition in good form is JMcC Roofing Racing’s Adam McLean.

Rostrum finisher in both Twins races during the FonaCAB & Nicholl Oils North West 200, the Tobermore racer is rightly regarded amongst the leading Super Twin pilots within the real-roads scene.

Mad Bros Racing’s Gary McCoy, Bishop Castle’s Barry Furber mustn’t be discounted either from front running pursuits whilst added ones to watch amongst the 29 rider entry-list, include:

Kevin Barsby, Toby Shann, ‘Tommy Club member’ Dan Ingham astride the Castings Technology Aprilia.

No Limits Racing front runner Russell Brook, sole Paton mounted rider Michael Rees, VRS Racing’s Sam Johnson, Julian Tillotson (JMS Solutions/Oliver’s Mount Racing).

Jacque Foley (TPS/JF76 Racing), Owen Monaghan (McKinstry Racing), Tommy Downes (Moto 46), Oliver Dean (Jenkar/OC Graphics) and newcomer Marcus ‘Spartacus’ Simpson.
