New to Scarborough racing itinerary, the CB 500 Honda category, received praise a plenty from hardened real road racing fans, during the Bob Smith Spring Cup.
13 racers have placed entries in for the second instalment of CB500 action at Scarborough, including:

Prospective Manx GP newcomer Owen Monaghan, Aran Sadler (AS Electricals), Ricky Martin (Cut in Edge Decorating/Lexel Engineering).
Liam McPherson (McPherson Construction Ltd/Stark Consultancy), Richard Hughes (GWH Fabrications Ltd) and 75 plate holder Nik Sweet (Sweet & Sons Car & Commercials).
Thirteen is also the number for combined 125/Moto 3, 250, 400cc powered competitors.
Notable entrants include 20 times Oliver’s Mount race winner, Bob Smith Spring Cup Champion Joey ‘Yorkshire’ Thompson, ‘Tommy Club’ member Dan Ingham, Phil Stead (Dynojet UK).
East Yorkshireman Richie Welsh, local favourite Tony Flinton, Stuart Hamilton supported Kelly Carruthers and newcomer Damien Horgan (Madbros/DH Electrical Ltd).
