Ian Bell and Carl Bell where victorious in the opening sidecar race at this years cock of the north road races. Ian and Carl competing on the Ian Bell motorcycles sidecar outfit won by 14 seconds from second place finisher Conrad Harrison and Lee Patterson. Conrad and Lee competing on the Printing roller services sidecar showed good speed throughout to record another podium finish around Oliver’s Mount.
Tony Thirkell finished in a consistent third place in front of former British sidecar champion Tont Elmer who finished in fourth place. Dean Lindley rounded out the top 5 whilst Gary Gibson and Mark Sayers achieved a excellent result by finishing in eight position.
