By 2018 Junior Manx Grand Prix winner James Chawke, brother 2018 Irish Road Race Junior Support & Senior Support Championship runner-up Liam Chawke, in between their own racing ventures, for 2025 are taking on tutoring roles, providing coaching, support, advice across training days, race events to Boss-E Racing team members.
The Irish Minibike Championship competitors working this year with Harry Birch (Bambam category competitor), Zak Turkington (Junior Elite 140cc class), Paige Mullen (Mini GP 140 class), Katie Clint (Bambam 90cc class) are super happy to have the Chawke brothers on-board.
Team Owners of Boss-E Racing, Eva Mullen, Tommy Galbraith jointly stated:
“It’s great to see the Chawkie brothers putting back into the sport in many ways but to coach the next generation is another level!
The Boss E-Team would like to thank the Chawkie racing team for coming onboard to support the junior riders and we look forward to the season ahead.”
James Chawke, Liam Chawke, jointly added:
“We started as young boys ourselves, times where different back then you didn’t have an opportunity like there is these days for kids to break into tarmac racing from the age of 6.
Through the years we have been lucky enough to have some great people around us to help keep us in the right direction and help us get to where we are today.
After some discussion about how we could help share the knowledge we have gained over the years with the younger generation, as another way of putting back into the sport, we’ve partnered with the Boss-E Racing Junior Team to work with their riders and provide some tips that will help them while they are out on track.
We are excited to for the full season ahead on top of a full race schedule on the roads for ourselves.”
