The IOM squad that included Lord of Jurby Invitational Race winner Marcus Simpson (Macau Grand Prix bound next month), Jamie Cringle, Paul Cassidy, Kyle Casement, the Crowe brothers Ryan & Callum, victorious points accumulation totalled 525.
Second, fifty-three points adrift were the Wales team (472 points), featuring Classic Superbike Race Two winner, Paul ‘Potchy’ Williams, Wayne Lockey/Ben Binns, Alex Sinclair and Solo Captain, 2018 Newcomers (B) Manx Grand Prix victor Mikey Rees.
Third with 389 points recorded was the Ireland team, led by Captain Mark Hewitt and Vice-Captain, 2019 Superbike Classic TT runner-up Derek Sheils.
Reigning champions Scotland (272 points) whose squad featured Steve Kershaw/Rhys Gibbons, Shaun Buckle, Michael Mackinnon finished fourth.
Next year’s Celtic Match Races will see teams, competitors travel to Ireland with Mondello Park the intended competition location.
