Same as last season, Italian legend Daniele Stolli became SuperOpen 800 CIVS Champion, David Lignite acquired the SuperOpen 600 title.
Hill climbing doyen, overall, Saline-Volterra track-record holder (1.25.47 from 2025 CIVS season finale), Maurizio Bottalico, did not take part in 2026 CIVS rounds. He tested earlier this month RVS Motorsport’s M1000RR BMW at Botniaring Circuit in Finland, preparing for Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix, under supervision of team-chief Erno Kostamo.
Another high-level Italian road racing ace, with CIVS and European Hill Climb titles to his credit, Luca Gottardi, will start alongside RVS Motorsport team-mate, Northwest 200 debutant this year Niko Lehtiranta as wildcard entrants for upcoming 2026 Euro Moto Championship finale at the Hockenheimring.
