Bonetti Seals National Superbike Hill Climb Crown

North West 200 winner, 2019 Senior Classic TT runner-up Stefano Bonetti added last Sunday the 2021 CIVS (Campionato Italiano Velocita in Salita) Super Open 1000 Championship title to his already widely acclaimed racing resume.

Competing around the flowing Monzuno, Bologna based Molino Del Pero course, successive top three finishes from the timed 1000cc contests was more than enough for the aforementioned crown.

Fellow FIM European Hill Climb Supersport Champion Maurizio Bottalico claimed during the past weekend quadruple of middleweight 600cc triumphs, plus powered to overall Superstock 600, Super Open 600 titles, whilst others crowned as CIVS champions in their respective classes included:

Sidecars – Loris Bottino/Simone Zamboni
Quad Bikes – Fabio Ricca
Maxi Naked – Stefano Manici
Supermoto – Carmine Matarazzo

250 Two Strokes – Cristian Olcese
300 Super Open – Marco Lombardi
125 Two Strokes – Manuel Dal Molin
Scooter+Mini Open – Dario Bursi
