Beneficial Armoy Tenure For Chawke Brothers
James Chawke, Liam Chawke’s latest Armoy Road Races proved tremendously beneficial with the Rathkeale racing aces, taking away a plenitude of good moments, consistent results.

Former Manx Grand Prix winner, top twelve TT finisher James Chawke racing the TH Racing Honda, Lyonara Cold Stores/Chawkie Racing Supporters Club M1000RR BMW, attained four finishes of fourteenth or better, top ten finishes from 1000cc races.

Plus, a new personal Supersport lap-time (1.49.142) and top ten finish overall in the ‘Race of Legends,’ edging Sam West for tenth, leading home Northwest 200 podium finisher Barry Furber, Austria’s leading international road racer Julian Trummer.

Brother Liam, building for his latest Manx GP campaign, took twenty first place finishes times two in Supersport contests whilst the Super Twin races saw him back competing aboard Ryan Farquhar’s Jack Reid Cars sponsored KMR Kawasaki.

Registering twelfth, eighth place finishes, he feels he is in decent shape going into tackling again, pure road racing’s utopia, the unparalleled Mountain Course.

“I am delighted to be back on the bike and am happy with the progress we made.

Each lap felt better, and we are in a great place heading into the Manx.”

Before returning to IOM shores, the Sullivan’s Bar, Rathkeale hosted Chawkie Racing Supporters Bike Run (9th of August – 2:00 PM start time) beckons for the Chawke brothers who wish to issue a huge thanks to all sponsors, supporters who help them compete at national, international road races.
