In what feels like a turn back time story, 2022 Duke Road Race Rankings Champion Davey Todd, will lead previous suitors Burrows Engineering/Richardson Kelly Racing’s 2023 Macau Grand Prix challenge.
Reigning King of The Roads Champion Todd, will have M1000RR BMW tackle at his disposal for his third Guia Circuit tenure.
Fourth in 2019, recent TAS Racing/Milwaukee BMW signing Todd, stated about today’s international road racing update:
“I am excited to be re-joining with Burrows Engineering/RK Racing for the Macau GP.
The team who I did my first TT with, in 2018! We’ve talked about working together again every year since then I think, and it’s cool that we now get to do it with the support of my TAS Racing team on familiar BMW M1000RR machinery.
It’s a perfect combination so I can’t wait to get out to Macau and get going!”
BE/RK Racing Team Owner John Burrows added:
“I am delighted to have Davey back riding one of our bikes again. After a great season together in 2018, we remained friends and always said if an opportunity arises to work together again, we wouldn’t say no.
So, when Davey called me a couple of weeks ago to ask about the possibility of running him at Macau it did not take long for me to make my decision.
Davey has shown in the past two BSB rounds that he works well with the BMW and given his great form around Macau in the past, that is something that excites me looking ahead to next month.”
