By James Cowton won the modern machines up to 450cc race today at the Barry Sheene road race festival. James competing on a Honda RS250 finished first in front of Alistair Haworth who finished in second place. Third place went to Kevin Strowger whilst Justin Waring recorded a good fourth place competing on the moto 3 Repli-Cast UK racing bike.
Mark Goodings, Nick Anderson, David Guiney, Sarah Boyes and Chris Barratt completed the top 9 finishers in the race. John Fawcett was the winner of the 500 Denis Parkinson race. John finished in front of second place finisher Billy Lyle whilst Martin Lyons finished in a steady third place.
