On Sunday the Barry Sheene race festival took place which combined both classic and modern day racing in the same day at what was for most of the day part wet/part dry conditions for all competitors. Ivan Lintin continuing his brilliant form from a superb TT won 4 races in a day on his new Kawasaki ER-6 in the 400/650 class and also on his Kawasaki zx-6 that took 10th and 14th place finishes at the TT this year. In the second 600/1000 race Dean Harrison took a fourth place finish on his Ian Bell Motorcycles Yamaha R6 continuing the form that earned him many plaudits from his impressive TT performance this year.
One of the newcomers to Oliver’s Mount for this meeting was New Zealander and Manx Grand Prix rider Michael Moulai who achieved two top 15 finishes in both 600/1000 races.
