Whilst the weather, rain, sun, rain, sun, rain, sun, course conditions couldn’t make its mind up yesterday, the racing across the board was consistent in lighting up North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT’, Oliver’s Mount.

Three races not held on Saturday, moved into Sunday’s racing itinerary, meaning an almost 20 races timetable.

Lee Crawford/Scott Hardie had the edge on the opposition in the MAG Farmyard Party Sidecar races, collecting in proficient style, three race wins.

Driver Crawford, Oliver’s Mount wins resume now tops thirty wins, (31 wins in total).

Pre-event anticipated top pursuers to Crawford/Hardie, the Ramsdens Steve & Matty secured a hat-trick of runner-up of finishes, newcomers Kieran Clarke/Andy Johnson bagged third place finishes times three.

Gary McCoy’s presence at Scarborough rises and rises, ‘Tonto’ swept up the remaining Supersport (A), Super Twins races to increase his circuit wins tally to 12.

Mike Norbury, Barry Sheene Feature race winner Don Gilbert shared the Classic Superbike spoils, Sam Johnson, Jack Turner shared Supermono field honours.

Whippet Racing’s Stuart Hall, 2019 Newcomers Manx GP winner Andrew Jackson took overall, two-stroke race wins whilst outright Classics race titles went to the widely respected Richard Ford.

Tony Flinton pocketed 125/Moto 3, Support Race One triumphs, 154 plate holder Andrew Murphy joined the Scarborough winners circle via 400 4-Strokes victories.

Richard Hewitt, Andrew Guy led the Classic 500, Classic 350 fields whilst the Supersport B races were obtained by Toby Shann with Aarron Cooke, Austen Webster twice P2, P3.

In terms of the crowd-pleasing CB 500 category, debutant Kingston Upon Hull’s Adam Shelton was most definitely No.1, finishing best of the class on three occasions.

Behind Shelton, the trio of Bailey Harker, Scott Aitkin, Stephen Sewell all caught the imagination of those in attendance at a positive overall Barry Sheene Festival.
