• 23 times Oliver’s Mount race winner Lee Crawford is a non-starter for Saturday, Sunday’s Sidecar races, due to a recent infection.

• Stephen ‘Degsy’ Degnan disclosed today that he’s Armoy bound next week plus will be sampling next month’s motorcycle hill climb at Scarborough.

• Rob Hodson’s 500 Honda steed, has been provided by Manx Grand Prix suitors Ruthless Racing.

• Gary McCoy makes his yesteryear road racing debut this weekend, piloting HM Motorsport’s 350 Honda.

• Barry Furber and Ian Armstrong, are team-mates this weekend, racing Lucky Strike liveried Suzuki’s in the Classic Superbike encounters.

• Special guests in attendance at the Barry Sheene Classic include Steve Parrish, Trevor Nation and 1998 Senior TT winner Ian Simpson.

• Sidecar racers representative is Matty Ramsden.

• Lead event commentators are Bradley Hix and the legend that is Tony Coupland.

• German newcomer Chris Meyer, future racing plans also include competing at Spain’s most famous road race, the La Baneza Grand Prix.
