Appleby’s Paul Magnay is ultra looking-forward to this weekend’s Barry Sheene Classic, following a positive test at Aintree on the Oliver’s Mount Racing supported ZX6R Kawasaki.
Widely recognised for his Magpie Racing set-up, Magnay recently secured a podium finish at Aintree and a top fifteen finish at the Cock O’The North.
Eager to continue his solid progress around England’s only road race circuit, he carries this weekend, his customary 87 plate.
A top three finisher at Aberdare Park, the plucky privateer racer alongside upcoming Scarborough action, also has one eye on next week’s Armoy ‘Race of Legends’.
Magnay features amongst an event entry-list which includes Davey Todd, Jamie Coward, Michael Browne and 21st Century Scarborough wins record holder, Dean Harrison.
For now, though, all focus for Magnay is firmly placed on the Barry Sheene Classic and ticking off more personal goals.
