Next month’s Oliver’s Mount, Steve Henshaw Gold Cup will mark a fitting end for the aspiring STS Racing team’s first season of road racing.
The outfit ran by Andy Storey previously of Nick Morgan’s MSS Performance are set to run the 2022 Irish Road Race Lightweight Supersport & Senior Support Champion Keelim Ryan, on their ZX6 Kawasaki apparatus.
Ryan, fourth from feature race action at Cookstown back in April, prospective Gold Cup venture, will be his first taste of North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT’.
County Offaly’s Ryan, who’s previously sampled ‘Southern Hemispheres Isle of Man’, the Cemetery Circuit Races at Whanganui, is additionally due to be part of STS Racing’s 2025 race season plans, piloting a BSB specification ZX636 Kawasaki and potentially a Superstock ZX10 Kawasaki.
Andy Storey’s squad are also aiming to work with Armoy top three finisher, Senior Support Cookstown 100 runner-up in 2023, Bray’s Dean Lacey, equipping him with extra ‘Team Green’ tackle (ZX6 Kawasaki).
A three-rider team is not being discounted as well with Darragh Trappe lined-up as team member no.3, as STS Racing supported by MSS Performance aims to strike quite the impression on the most exciting form of motorsport worldwide, pure road racing.
The squads’ 2025 racing itinerary is anticipated to be disclosed, in-the near future.
