By Truly unstoppable, surmised Michael Browne’s display in the opening, Armoy big bike encounter.
Not for the first time this week, gaining the hole shot, Browne (Boyce Precision Engineering by Russell Racing – Honda), swiftly hit his stride, opening as lap one concluded, an already mighty lead of 3.812 seconds.
Browne’s grip on first place, expanded lap on lap, by lap five, he was plus fifteen seconds ahead of eventual, second place finisher, Conor Cummins (Conrod Motorsport – BMW).
Achieving Armoy win number eleven, a hat-trick at this year’s event, Browne’s final race winning interval to IOM roads scene royalty Cummins, stood past sixteen seconds (16.389 to be exact).
Dominic Herbertson (KTS Racing Powered by Stanley Stewart – BMW), not feeling the effects of an off at Church Bends from the prior Ducati Antrim Supersport race, pipped Paul Jordan (Jackson Racing Powered by Prosper2) for third.
Via aggregate timing Derek McGee (BE/RK Racing – BMW) clinched fifth with sixth obtained by top Armoy newcomer, David Datzer (Roadhouse Macau by Datziii#55 Road Racing – BMW).
