By Post yesterday’s competition at Armoy, the top thirty quickest ‘Race of Legends’ exponents have all registered lap speeds exceeding 101.4 mph.
Milenco by Padgetts Davey Todd (108.534) remains the outright lap record holder, closest to surpassing his record-breaking turn of speed from 2022 was Open A race rostrum finisher, new second fastest Armoy competitor of all time, Derek Sheils (108.231).
Ten times ‘Race of Legends’ Champion Michael Dunlop also bested his previous PB lap speed, nearing the 108-mph lap mark (107.930).
New members of the top thirty most rapid Armoy pilots list are Marcus ‘Spartacus’ Simpson (102.994) and WH Racing’s Julian Trummer (101.493).
