Armoy Road Races: Qualifying/Race Schedule

Excitement is entering another level for Irish Road Racing fans with the 11th Armoy Road Races due to begin tomorrow.

The first Irish roads meeting of 2021, has an eleven race schedule which includes the showpiece Bayview Hotel ‘Race of Legends’ which carries a race winner’s purse of £1,400 pounds.

As mentioned in previous articles, leading names ready for Armoy include Michael Dunlop, Derek Sheils, Derek McGee, Adam McLean, Davey Todd and reigning Duke Road Race Rankings Champion Michael Sweeney.

Notable newcomers making their maiden event appearances tomorrow afternoon include Phil Crowe, Mark Parrett, Barry Furber, Anthony Redmond, inaugural TT XGP winner Rob Barber and former Moto GP competitor Chris Burns.

The full prospective practice, qualifying, race running order for the 2021 Armoy Road Races, is as follows:

30th July:

Roads Close – 12:30 PM

Newcomers Group 1 Practice – 5 Laps
Newcomers Group 2 Practice – 5 Laps
