Parker Transport Racing, Crowe Performance are the latest teams to announce their intention to take in next month’s Armoy Road Races (25th-26th of July).
Phil Crowe, runner-up in last year’s ‘Race of Legends’, returns doubling up in Team Owner/rider roles for his Crowe Performance outfit.
The Market Rasen ace is set to be joined by Armoy debutant, National Superstock 1000 race winner, ex works Honda rider Franco Bourne, following a successful testing stint at Cadwell Park.
Bourne who will maintain his association with Cowton Racing, for Supersport, Super Twin contests, same as suitor Crowe, is BMW powered for his first roads scene endeavours with 1000cc tackle.
Meanwhile, Gerry Parker’s Parker Transport Racing squad, latest Armoy racing foray, sees them align with Austria’s top international road racer, Julian Trummer, 2022 Macau Grand Prix winner Erno Kostamo and Gareth Arnold.
Trummer, the 2016 Newcomers (A) Manx Grand Prix runner-up, 42nd fastest racer in TT Races history, will ride R1, R6 Yamaha’s whilst Kostamo, another high-profile Armoy first-timer, joins him in riding an R6 with Ramsey, Isle of Man based Arnold Moto 3 Honda equipped.
