Armoy 2025: 147 Strong Race Entry, 20 Plus Newcomers

A 147 strong entry-list is-confirmed for the final round of this year’s Ulster Road Race Championships, the Bayview Hotel title supported Armoy Road Races.

The vast starting field includes twenty plus newcomers such as Southern 100 Super Twins lap-record holder, Oliver’s Mount Cock O’The North feature race winner, SMT Racing’s Rob Hodson, Gordon Huxley Racing’s Jonathan Perry.

2022 Macau Grand Prix Erno Kostamo, lining up on RVS Motorsport BMW metal, Laxey’s Joe Yeardsley, William Grant, Cowton Racing team-mate, Franco Bourne.

Armoy Road Races, Clerk of The Course, William Munnis, gave his reaction to the nigh-on 150 racers starters list:

“We’re absolutely delighted with the number and calibre of riders joining us this year.

With returning favourites, newcomers and international teams set to take part, spectators can expect a great weekend of racing.

We have over 20 newcomers this year with a third of them coming from the South, and there are a few races that are oversubscribed but as a Club we are really-keen to ensure that everyone gets some track time – we are probably going to have to run some B races too.

Friday will be interesting, it always is, but if we get it right, Saturday should take care of itself.”
