Planning to build upon solid, improving progress around the fabled, mythical Mountain Course, America’s fastest Manx Grand Prix exponent Chris Sarbora, is all set to join the TT Races field in 2022.
A Manx GP newcomer in 2011, the most recent MGP race week from 2019 saw Sarbora acquire creditable 17th, 14th place finishes plus near the 117 mph lap mark, registering a best lap speed of 116.978 mph.
With TT plans having to be put on hold over recent years, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he’s kept sharp back home tackling an array of purpose built circuit racing events including the Daytona 200.
Keen to give the USA a prominent presence at TT 2022, the software engineer will have an eye on joining the versatile, lengthy group of racers to go 120 mph plus at the world’s most famous road race.
In addition to TT 2022, Sarbora’s plans for next year also include taking in the North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix, Macau Grand Prix and venturing back to Daytona.
